Routes

The Harvest Century consists of four, looped routes beginning and ending at Washington County Fairgrounds in Hillsboro, Oregon. You can ride the last organized century on the Pacific Northwest event calendar and choose our 100-mile course, or choose a mid-range,75-mile course, the easy going 45 -mile course, or bring along the entire family and ride the 3-mile course. On this beautiful fall ride, you'll pass through Yamhill valley wineries, glimpse breathtaking views of Mt. Hood & the coast range, and find yourself in unexpected places right outside city centers. Click on the heading of each route to view a map, click on summary to see the full elevation profiles and be directed to google earth for a fly by of the route.

100-mile course
A scenic, relatively flat course scattered with heart pumping climbs and descents (2200 ft. overall elevation gain). After lunch, enjoy a peaceful ride on the Canby Ferry. The shorter daylight hours and afternoon headwind makes the century a fun way to test your season’s training by maintaining a recommended 12-15-mph pace. Riders must depart lunch stop at mile 42 by 12:30pm to do the full century. You can easily opt at mile 43 for the shorter, but just as beautiful, 75-mile route.
Rest stops include: 75-mile course
Circle rolling-hill-laden Chehalem Mountain with colorful autumn landscapes (1980 ft. total elevation gain). If you are feeling extra strong, you may opt for the full century at mile 43 by 12:30pm.
Rest stops include: 45-mile course
The new 45 mile route is gorgeous, flat, and perfect for a fall day (750 ft. elevation gain). Great warm-up for you Sunday cyclecross racers! With a rest stop at Montinore Vineyard where $5 cash gets you a tasting of 5 out of all 16 of their wine selections. See something you like? Purchase it on the spot and we'll haul it back to the start line for you.
Rest stops include:
3-mile course
Tricycles big & small, wheelchairs, strollers, walkers, and those who have mastered the art of riding a two-wheeled bike, but aren't prepared, willing, or able to pedal across four counties - this one is for you! Designed with inclusive participation for all in mind, this 3-mile course includes safe routes starting and ending at Washington County Fairgrounds.

Course Marking
Each course is marked with the signature Harvest Century Jack-O-Henry’s (like Dan Henry pavement markings – only better). Each rider is also provided with a cue-sheet & map to follow the route.
